Here is some of the latest Royals analysis from around the internet. The roundup covers Carter Jensen's standout rookie season, Noah Cameron's 2026 performance, Cal Quantrill as a potential free agent addition, and the Royals' need to upgrade their bullpen.

• Carter Jensen keeps racking up the honors for incredible rookie season (Kings of Kauffman). Notes that Carter Jensen's 2026 rookie season far exceeded preseason projections, as he hit .239 with a .790 OPS, 27 home runs, 35 doubles, 80 RBI, and earned multiple honors including MLB Pipeline's First Team All-Rookie catcher.
• 2026 Royals season in review: Noah Cameron (Royals Review). Argues that Noah Cameron had a volatile 2026 season, with a higher ERA than his rookie year but improved K-BB% and fWAR, positioning him as a borderline ace; notes he finished tied for 28th in fWAR (2.8) and 30th in K-BB% (13.4%) among qualified starters, and showed dominant stretches with a 2.
• This bargain free agent could fill a glaring roster hole on the Royals roster (Kings of Kauffman). Argues that Cal Quantrill, who posted a 1.5 fWAR in 110 innings with the Rangers in 2026, could provide innings, stability, and versatility for the Royals' struggling pitching staff on an affordable deal.
• Kansas City Royals news: How will the Royals upgrade the bullpen? (Royals Review). Argues the Royals should aggressively pursue free agents like Adrian Morejon and David Bednar to upgrade their bullpen, citing Morejon's sub-3.00 ERA over three seasons and Bednar's 2.47 ERA and 35 saves with the Yankees.
